世界保健機関（WHO）による世界禁煙デー（5月31日）スローガン
世界禁煙デーとは、世界保健機関（WHO）が喫煙者に対しては24時間喫煙を控えるよう呼びかけるとともに、各国の政府・自治体・諸機関・個人に対しては喫煙と健康
問題の認識を深め、適切な対策の実践を求める日である。

The global tobacco epidemic kills nearly 6
million people each year, of which more than 600 000 are non-smokers dying from
breathing second-hand smoke. For World No Tobacco Day 2014, WHO and partners
call on countries to raise taxes on tobacco.
